Ancient PuzzleHead

just I feel like something stupid
like an ancient puzzle all coming together, just to find the words to explain what it is im trying to do, and then the process of doing that is something I've known all along, but haven't been able to do because its one of those things that you just have to accept, which I can't do because
aaand thats what I don't know.
because I can't find the words to explain whats wrong in the first place

Story again and again...

Borealis: Elyan Delayo, is an Indie game in development, being made by myself and some friends. The game is based around Elyan, and his last few hours alive as he wanders the desecrated ruins of his onced green and beautiful town of Aerodia.

The game is a dark twist on a once perfect world, with influences from Tail of Tails: The Path, but with a more powerful and drag-down subconscience reaving eyes-open plot, but overall just as rewarding.

Like The Path, the game currently features no combat, just mind-wrapping exploration in dark ruins that change over the duration of the game. Buildings collapse. The ground will occasionally bore open... making new areas accecible, or old areas inaccessible.

Elyan Delayo, 27, brown short cruffy hair, bright blue eyes. (not that you can ever see them, since it's a black and white / tepia game)

WoA - 30th may 2010

WoA (Wastelands of Aerodia) is a dark post-apocalypse game built on XNA 3.1 in a 3D enviroment.

The concept: Your character, Elyan, 36, is a joyful man up until the point when the sky falls and destroys the world. Limping his way through the remains of his town, Aerodia he bare-witnesses the end of the world as he knows it.

Development: After a period of time, Elyan begins to lose his sanity and imagines dark shadow-like fiends attacking him. This makes the game not so boring.

Because in the story, Elyan limps virtually everywhere he goes, Elyan can now run for so long until he begins to run out of breath, although if he runs to far, or to fast, he risks getting angry, spawning fiends.

The game is based around a clock that after so long of game play, triggers events to happen, like in-game happenings. Buildings collapsing. Tree's setting on fire for no good reason.

The game contains intense puzzles, some of which aren't ment to be solved, but are possible. The game has no real purpose, and is in no way linear. You can liturally walk to the end of the game in less than half an hour.

The game contains no voice acting besides Elyan and various characters seen in flashbacks.

Elyans inventory can only hold so much stuff. Besides 2 items, there are no items needed to complete the game. The game only exists for it's atmosphere and stunning storyline.

Angels aren't Angels (Early 2010)

I'm just trying to find my cure so I can live with you forever more.
You hang your head and stair into a ciggerette and wonder whats worth living for.

I want you to know how I feel these dark explosions hunger, color.
A barrage of bright and perfect skies with a deadline regarding the summer.

For all we know, a clostrophobic cluster around us will slowly go. Away from us, away from her lady she.

But I regret to say thats not the case as depression fills our thoughts.
And all the choices that you've ever made were not how you were tought.
And more on how you first saught out on making friends, well that's all we can relate. To that at some point;

Angels aren't Angels,
Angels aren't Angels,
no, Angels aren't Angels.
no. Angels aren't angels

I'm just getting by day by day, what a miserable way to go.
Please look up in the empty skies and tell me every you know.
I wanna feel on top of the world like I don't give a damn
about all the nightmares and all the terrors hidden in the diagram.

For all we know, a clostrophobic cluster around us will slowly go. Away from us, away from her lady she.

But I regret to say thats not the case as depression fills our thoughts.
And all the choices that you've ever made were not how you were tought.
And more on how you first saught out on making friends, well that's all we can relate. To that at some point;

Angels aren't Angels,
Angels aren't Angels,
no, Angels aren't Angels.
no. Angels aren't angels

1000 smashed windows (2007)

Well you’re almost on top o the world
You can see her, and then it all goes to hell

We all know how this feels, time kills the memories, this means to me more than we could ever believe

And I look back on the past of one thousand smashed windows
Find love in a bottle, where, only God knows.
Walking away from belief in religions
Its 5 am, a plague of pigeons
Mercy please, oh mercy me.
I’m shit out of luck, if you know what I mean.
I just want to write a love melody
So I’ve got something to back on when you hate me.

So close to the end, but so close to greatness
A pretty picture, yet she looks so faithless
Its not what I want, what I want is to know
She’s happy has me, struggling to believe.

We all know how this feels, time kills the memories, this means to me more than we could ever believe

Delirium boy (2007)

Breathe again
Son of grand
Grow up to be
A hated man

Learn to walk
Scour and hide
Just like the maggot
Still inside.

Selling your dignity to keep you alive
Forcing infinity from some other life,
Threatening your children to sleep through the night and you know its wrong, yes you know…

Delirium boy’s got nothing to toy with the hands of his father, he traitors his brothers.
Delirium boy’s ran out of shit to destroy, with hands like his faster, he hates his mother.
He’s thinking bout’ fighting who’s thinking who’s right about the mother she cried, LSD, is this me, am I dead. Oh

Scream again
Son of man
Push into me
Come join the clan

Learn to talk
Walk the walk
Just like your old man
You still don’t understand ---

Because you’re selling your dignity to keep you alive
Stealing infinity from some other life.
Killing your children to sleep through the night and you know, yes you know –

Delirium boy’s got nothing to toy with the hands of his father, he traitors his brothers.
Delirium boy’s ran out of shit to destroy, with hands like his faster, he hates his mother.
He’s thinking bout’ fighting who’s thinking who’s right about the mother she cried, LSD, is this me, am I dead. Oh

Oh tell me how you think of him, as a human being or an immortal sin.
(Oh tell me how you think of him, as a human being or an immortal sin).
((Oh tell me how you think of him, as a human being or an immortal sin))
(((Oh tell me how you think of him, as a human being)))

Breathe again… Breathe again… Breathe again… Breathe again...

18th

Picturing myself as a terrorist, I'd be the guy who runs up to a school wall intending to blow the building to pieces, but instead I find myself having done liturally no damage what-so-ever; infact the quite opposite, the sound of the blast attracted wild life... fluffy bunnies find my corpse and naw at it's remains.

But just the thought of me dashing up towards and into a wall only to violently explode having done no damage just makes me laugh.

Construction Shards

When I was young my dad was an asshole amoung assholes. He'd force my mum to feed me and my sister soap if we did anything wrong. My mum wouldn't want to, but she knew if she didn't he have it in for her too. My dad would smack us with belt buckels and ground us by the week for no good reason.

I've never gotten along with my dad, but it was because of this I never hung out with him, nor left my room where I played my MegaDrive, playing sonic games excessively at the ages of 6 to maybe late 9.
Because I played so often I'd shake in school, and y'know how there's always one freak in your class/school that no one wants to hang out with. Well, thankfully that wasn't me, but on a list of 1 to 10, and 10 being the worst, I was likely around 8.

So awesome. I had no friends and had a terrible family. Anyway, cutting he crap, it's too long a story as it is...

Basically having my dad has made me hate human error. So naturally I hate everyone including myself, cause we suck. Seriously. We're a stupid race. Just look through this thread at how bad my grammer, spelling, pronounciation is. It's terrible.

Anyway. I always pretended to have multiple voices in my head after the book 'A hat full of sky, by Terry Prattchet'. when I was young. Well, now I have the misery of actually having several voices in my head at. All. Times.

Most of the time I hear them at work, calling my name like "oh yes please Anthony"; and I'd look around and there'd be no one there, or the persons voice I heard it in wouldn't even be in the bar that day.

When I go to sleep at night my mind builds together pictures of... anything, like just earlier while I was trying to get to sleep (it's currently 2:04 am), I kept imagining a syncronization (terrible spelling, not bothered to google search/correct it) in the game Assassins Creed II, like where the city builds its self from out of nowhere.

So yeah, I'd lie in bed and have dozens of voices talking over me, making it hard to sleep, and whats worse is because ... I think everyone sucks, I don't want to go see a doctor. The first time I went to see my doctor she didn't believe me, and just told me to speak to someone about it when 'derp derp, what the hell do you think I'm here for?'

Californian Girl

Around 5 and a half years ago I started playing an online sensational game, Runescape, by Jagex. About a year and a half in I'd build up a strong character and I had a lot of reputation from other players who played on the same server (world 88) as me. Eventually these people and I started a clan; a group of people who went by the name of The Rising Shadows. This clan wasn't very popular, although we did reach around 81 members at one point. Anyway; after some 6 months of the clan running, the team and I were introduced to Ventrillo, which was where I met someone who's now very special to me.

I've always loved accents, so the moment I heard this girls voice I felt glory; like a golden sensation of wind and swirling all around me. I felt bubbly and more happy then I had ever felt before.

So, naturally, I bawwed... collapsing onto my desk and drooling and telling her how much I loved her accent; she, as you can imagine, was creeped out and shy, so I rarely heard her talk again over the next few months, but we kept in touch over instant messenger, occasionally talking about the game we played, and our daily lives. After some 2 years I realised how big a part of my life this girl had become. I felt as though I couldn't live past a day without having this girl know how much she ment to me, regardless of how unneccesary it was to repetadly tell her.

Well, it feels like around 5 and a half, but it's closer to 4 years ago now when we started talking. She's coming down to England sometime in January 2011, hopefully so, I'm really looking forward to finally seeing her outside of this box. I just pray we're just as close in this virual world as we are in this real world.

Polybius (game)

For nearly a year now I've been obsessed with The Legend of Polybius.

"According to the story, an unheard-of new arcade game appeared in several suburbs of Portland, Oregon in 1981, something of a rarity at the time. The game, Polybius, proved to be incredibly popular, to the point of addiction, and lines formed around the machines, quickly followed by clusters of visits from men in black. Rather than the usual marketing data collected by company visitors to arcade machines, they collected some unknown data, allegedly testing responses to the psychoactive machines. The players themselves suffered from a series of unpleasant side-effects, including amnesia, insomnia, nightmares, night terrors, and even suicide in some versions of the legend."[1]

Continuing; within the first week of discovering the game I found the all well known Sinneslöschen Polybius Game which was merely made up by a group of friends to recreate the game to the best of their ability according to internet resources and their imagination.
The game, which can be downloaded here; was enough to keep me awake at night and form shapes and faces in the pitch black of my bedroom at night.

Regardless, within less than a week of gameplay the game had become boring but it always remained a very intriguing story.

A month on...
I began to write a Polybius Story; based on the affairs of Claire Tistle, and Jonsi Bachman and their interference with a dark, shady goverment which slowly drags them into the black unknown. (This story is still being written, but on request I'll gladly share the current document).

Recently however my attention has been drawn to this.
Yes, it's a music video about the game. Unfortunetly I trolled myself into thinking Polybius 2 had been released to the public.

The Beginning of Something Dreadful

Fully aware that noone will read the content of this blog (unless requested)*. Regardless of this I've been convinced to collaberate my thoughts and with it, find a single word to sum up 'me' as a person.

Naturally, I believe an introduction is in order.

My name is Anthony Mallaboro.
I was born on the 11th December 1990 in St. Mary's Hospital.
My eyes are blue, my hair is short and natural brown. (I'm white, although don't let that change your perspective on me).
I live in the Souh UK, somewhere* abouts Portsmouth.

Things I'll likely post on this Blog:
  • Art (33 Frames Per Second, and such).
  • Lyrics (I'm a song writer, having lived a miserable childhood, I craved solitude with nothing more than a pen and paper).
  • .Mp3s (Ultimate outcome of Lyrics & FruityLoops 8Pro)
  • Videos (of varios happenings)
  • Creative Writing (stories/character development)
  • The happenings on myself and my friends.
  • My opinion on generally everything and everyone.
